Quote

Dollhouse crosses is the "blank slate" philosophy; which states that at birth anyone has the opportunity to be anything possible. What the parents do or what kind of genes someone has virtually has nothing to do with what you will be. John Watson, a proponent of this theory, stated, "Give me a dozen healthy infants, well-formed, and my own specified world to bring them up in and I'll guarantee to take any one at random and train him to become any type of specialist I might select...regardless of his talents, penchants, tendencies, abilities, vocations and race of his ancestors" (Powell 2). Meaning that Watson doesn’t care what the child’s parents or grandparents have done, anyone has an equal chance to be anything despite their talents, penchants, tendencies, abilities, vocations and race of his ancestors.

  1. I'm confused by what you mean when you say "Dollhouse crosses" in the first sentence.

  2. John Watson, a proponent of this theory, (does something--exemplifies this? demonstrates this? etc), stating,

    Strike the "Meaning that"--
Watson believes that it doesn't matter...
